Victorian Oak Desktop Barometer by Lynch and Bateman
A Victorian carved solid English oak cased desktop barometer with engraved silvered scale, fully serviced and working c.1885. The shallow proportioned carved oak case with arched top and flared base, carved decoration below the dial. Engraved silvered dial bearing the makers name Lynch & Bateman, Manchester. Bevelled edge glass with central reading marker, mounted in a polished brass bezel sat over the top. Fully serviced and working, presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Measures 9.75" wide x 3" deep x 8" high. Stock number 40481.
