A large late Victorian golden oak cased single fusee dial clock with 16" dial by Fraser of Preston c.1900. Moulded polished golden oak surround with matching back box, access door to the side and base. Polished brass bezel forming the glazed hinged opening door, original 16" painted dial sat behind. Bears the makers name, Fraser, Preston; original painted Roman numerals and steel hands. The original single fusee movement with anchor escapement in full working order. Excellent original condition with a good even colour and polish. Measures 20.5" diameter x 7" deep. Stock number 37809.
