A quality mid Victorian engine turned silver mug weighing 5.5 troy oz, hallmarked London 1867. Slightly tapering sides with beaded rim to the top and matching rim to the base. Engraved band around the top and base of the mug sides, the centre with engine turned finish along with blank cartouche. Scroll design handle with bead work decoration set to the side. Bears the makers mark for London silversmith William Hunter along with clear hallmarks. Presented in excellent condition with a deep shine. Measures 2.75" diameter x 4" wide including handle x 4" high. Stock number 40789.
