A Victorian Chinioserie black & burnt orange lacquered finish wall mirror.c.1880. Original quarter plate mirror glass. Gilt Oriental decoration to the cushion frame with gilt chequered corners and gilded moulded edge surround. Gilt pagodas and Oriental figures to the surround on a black lacquered background with burnt orange corners. Superb quality and patina. Measures 25.5" x 21.5" x 1.25"deep.
