A Victorian brass cased marine barometer with decorative porcelain dial and crescent thermometer c.1890. Polished solid brass dished case with hanging loop to the top. The rapid indicating aneroid movement sat behind a decorative white porcelain dial with original mercury action crescent thermometer to the lower half. The dial sat behind a glazed view window with central reading marker mounted in a polished brass bezel. Superb quality and condition, fully overhauled and working. Measures 5.5" diameter x 6.5" high including hanging loop x 2.25" deep. Stock number 38875.
