An unusual and heavy quality solid silver cheroot case with engine turned finish to the exterior and interior, hallmarked Birmingham 1946. The oblong case with chamfered edges to both sides and clipped corners; polished cartouche to the front with push button release to the front edge. The hinged case opening to reveal an unusual matching engine turned finish to the clean interior, along with retaining strap to hold the cheroots in place. Bears the makers mark for Birmingham case maker D P Martin along with clear hallmarks to all sections; weighs in at 4.75 troy oz. Pres...ented in immaculate condition with a deep shine.
