An unusual Edwardian solid oak cheval mirror with drawers to the decorative foot c.1910. Solid figured oak construction with carved decoration to the swept arched top mirror frame and original quarter plate bevelled edge mirror glass. The mirror supported by two reeded column uprights, each with turned finials to the tops. The wide foot with two small drawers sat either side of an open section for storage of clothes brushes. Moulded swept feet sat to each corner with bun feet below. The mirror adjustable for angle and locked in position by brass knobs sat either side of the uprigh...ts. Excellent quality and condition with an original mellow golden colour and polish. Measures 34" wide x 22" deep at the base x 44.5" high to top of mirror frame. Stock number 43396.
