A Superb Late Victorian polished oak Gothic style Courtroom armchair.c.1880. Original hand painted panel to the back with Prince of Wales feathers 'By Appointment'. Velvet padded seat and arm rests. Carved decoration to the front and back. Standing on square leg supports. Very solid and firm frame. Measures 24" x 19"deep x 47"high, seat 18"high.
