A superb Victorian oak cased fishermans barometer by collected maker Dollond C.1885. Ring turned deep solid oak surround, aneroid movement behind a fine quality porcelain dial bearing the makers name Dollond, London to the upper half and the flag and wording ' Shipwrecked Fishermen & Mariners Royal Benevolent Society' to the lower half along with serial number 899. Sat behind bevel edge glass with a polished brass bezel and centre reading marker.
