A superb quality late Victorian carved walnut 14" diameter aneroid barometer with skeletonised movement and dial back painted to the glass window c.1900. Broad turned solid walnut case with leaf design decoration, skeletonised movement sat to the centre with dished silvered surround. The scale back painted to the glass window, which is reflected in the dished silvered surround behind. The window mounted in a polished brass bezel with central reading marker. Superbly detailed throughout and presented in immaculate condition, fully serviced and working. Measures 14" diameter overall x 8..." dial x 2.5" maximum depth. Stock number 43414.
