Superb Solid Oak Rabbit Man Open Bookcase
A Superb Original solid oak open bookcase made by Rabbit Man(Peter Heap).c.1960. Solid oak with adzed finish to the top and sides and upstand. Three adjustable shelves with matching oak graining. Nicely carved rabbit to the top left hand side. Panelled back all in solid oak. Superbly made with a rich patina. Measures 32" x 10"deep x 49" high to the top of the rabbit. * Peter Heap was an apprentice for Robert Thompson in Yorkshire and went on to start his own workshop to the same standard as Thompson's with his own trademark rabbit carved to each.
