Superb Pair of Victorian Wing Back Chairs
A matching pair of George III style wing back arm chairs sat on moulded walnut cabriole legs with shell carved decoration C.1890. The top quality well shaped frames rolled over arms and swept front aprons. Sprung seats with the original horse hair upholstery recovered to a high standard in Abraham Moon pure wool fabric ' Huntingtower Sand' colourway with piped edges and complimenting plain wool backs. Sat on moulded cabriole style legs with shell carved decoration to the tops and splayed back legs. Excellent original patina to the woodwork. Very comfortable and useable. Each chair measures 41"... high to top of the back x 31" maximum width x 30" deep x 17" seat height.
