A superb original George II period small proportioned bureau with original fitted interior C.1730. Four graduated drawers with original engraved brass escutcheons and acorn drop handles. The fall front opening to rest on sleepers forming a writing surface. Fitted interior with drawers, pigeon holes and central cupboard with sunburst inlay. Concealed sovereign behind the bottom right drawer. Superb colour and original patina, sat on the original bracket feet, excellent small proportions. Measures 30.5" wide x 20" deep x 35" high.
