Superb George III Figured Oak Open Pot Board Dresser
A superb quality George III period figured oak country house dresser with open pot board in wonderful original condition c.1770. Planked top sat over a five drawer base, two large drawers sat either side with Three smaller drawers to the centre in a two over three formation. All drawers with fine quarter sawn timber and shallow crossbanding to the cockbeeded edges. Two small arches below the central drawers with veneer walnut panels directly above the arches. Elegant turned column supports below the apron with original planked pot board to the base. The base edge with moulde...d plinth forming the foot. Original delicately turned knobs to the drawers and presented in superb original condition with a mellow original golden colour and rich patina. Measures 71" long x 16.5" deep x 33" high.
