A superb Edwardian period mahogany Sheraton inlaid banjo barometer made by highly regarded maker Negretti & Zambra c.1900. Silvered engraved dial bearing the maker's name, Negretti & Zambra of London (w.1850-1900) The polished figured mahogany case with architectural pediment to the top, brass finial set in-between. The case strung with fruitwood and inlaid with Sheraton style inlays. Aneroid movement with engraved silvered scale bearing the makers name, sat behind a bevelled glass view window with centre reading marker mounted in a polished brass bezel.
