Superb Austrian Carved Mother of Pearl Table Box
A superb 1920's mother of pearl veneered table box with carved cockerel set against a rising sun. The exterior of the box veneered to the sides with strips of mother of pearl, the hinged lid decorated with a mother of pearl rising sun. Carved rocky ground to the base of the lid with a contrasting colour mother of pearl, and a superbly detailed dark coloured cockerel set to the side. The lid opening by button release to reveal a matching mother of pearl lined interior. Marked Austria to the base and presented in immaculate perfect condition. Measures 3.5" wide x 3.5" deep x 1.75" h...igh. Stock number 39590.
