A superb quality antique mahogany marine stick barometer with gimble C.1910. Arched top to the slim proportioned case with moulded sides. Angled bone scales bearing the makers name, Ross London. Mercury action movement and vernier marker, sat behind a glazed view window. Matching mercury action thermometer to the centre of the case with arched moulded top housing to match the top of the case. Remote adjuster for the vernier marker with ivorine turning knob. Polished brass reservoir to the base. Mounted on the original brass gimble with wall mount. Fully overhauled movement, superb quality and ...condition. Measures 35.5" long x 3" wide at the widest point x 2.25" deep. Stock Number 34078.
