A Superb quality Antique figured mahogany inlaid mantel clock.c.1910. Made by highly regarded cabinet maker, Waring & Gillow. Fruitwood and satinwood inlay to the solid mahogany case. Book matched figured veneers throughout. Silvered engraved dial bearing the maker's name, Waring & Gillow of Liverpool. Convex opening brass bezel front. 8 Day French movement with front winder. Arched top case with stepped base, standing on bracket feet. Maker's stamp and number to the base. A very impressive clock. Measures 8" x 4.5"deep x 12"high.
