Superb 19th Century 12" Celestial & Terrestrial Globe

A Superb 19th Century 12" plaster Celestial & Terrestrial globe.c.1830. Made by W & S.Jones* of London(w.1792-1830). Original plaster globe sat on a brass axis. Original turned ebonised cradle base. Celestial markers to the surround. Very rare and extremely good condition for the period. Measures 17"diameter overall x 18"high. * William & Samuel Jones of Holborn, London. Listed as the greatest scientific instrument makers of the early 19th Century.
