Superb 1930's 6" Papier Mache Globe
A superior quality 1930's Hammond & Co, New York, 6" terrestrial globe on the original turned ebonised timber foot. The broad turned foot with rich ebonised finish and baluster shaped column above, which rises to meet the cast polished brass axis supporting the globe. The revolving 6" papier mache globe in superb clear condition and bears the makers label for C.S. Hammond & Co, New York. Presented in excellent original undamaged condition with rich colours an excellent patina. Measures 6.75" wide overall including axis with a 6" glob...e diameter x 3.75" diameter at the base x 11.5" high. Stock number 42868.
