A late Victorian walnut small pendant banjo barometer and thermometer, fully restored and working c.1890. The solid walnut case with turned and carved surround to the barometer and turned pillars either side of the thermometer, arched carved section above with turned finials. The visible skeletonised aneroid movement surrounded by a porcelain enamel dial sat behind bevel edge glass set in a polished brass bezel and centre reading marker. Porcelain thermometer scale above with mercury action thermometer. Superb colour and polish to the case, fully serviced and in full working ...order. Measures 7.5" wide x 2.5" deep x 17.5" long.
