A small proportioned Victorian carved oak cased banjo barometer with porcelain dial and skeletonised movement, fully serviced and working c.1890. The solid oak case with scroll design top and carved leaf motif below. Carved sunburst decoration sat around the dial and matching carving to the base. Porcelain dial with skeletonised movement set to centre, sat behind a quarter plate bevelled edge glass window, which is set in a polished brass bezel. Matching scale to the thermometer with original mercury action thermometer. Superb quality and presented in immaculate condition wit...h a deep shine, fully serviced and working.
