A small Regency period rosewood tea caddy with mother of pearl decorative inlay and a two compartment interior. C.1830. Tappering sides with mother of pearl stringing and caddy top with quarter turned reeded trim and decorative inlays. Sat on the original turned feet with matching ring drop handles to the sides. Opening to reveal an original two section interior with lids to each compartment. Superb original colour and polish. Measures 8" wide x 5" deep x 6" high.
