A Small George II period oak cased 8 Day longcase clock.c.1730. Made by James Green of Althorpe(w.1712-36). 10" brass dial with date aperture and gilt spandrels to the corners. Strikes on a bell to the hour. Slim case with attached pillars to the moulded cornice hood. Owner's initials to the case door. Full working order. Superb mid oak colour and patina. Stands 78"high.
