A small proportioned George II period oak mule chest with fielded panel front and brass studded owners initials C.1750. Hinged planked top with moulded edge and original forged iron hinges. Three panel front, the outer fielded edge panels with broken arch tops and the central panel with flat top sat below a decorative lock escutcheon, brass studded owners initials above. Two drawers to the base with original brassware. Moulded plinth to the base and original bracket feet, split panel sides. Opens to reveal a clean interior with original candle box set to the left side, two small drawers below.... Original rich colour and patina. Presented in excellent original condition. Measures 43" wide x 18.5" deep x 29" high. Stock number 36211.
