A very collectable Russian silver and niello tankard, Moscow made C.1890. Flared footed base with rin turned edges supporting the circular vessel, matching ring turned rim. Cast silver handle to the side sith reeded design and floral relief. Stylized scroled leaf design patern to the sides inlaid with niello and sleigh and horses design scene to the front panel with characters in Russian costume..Bears the makers mark for Gustav Klingert, Moscow. Fine quality and presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine and no ware. Measures 3" diameter x 3" high. 4.25" wide inc handle. Stock nu...mber 35662.
