A rare matching pair of Charles II period silver trefid design handle spoons, hallmarked London 1683. Hand formed with rat tails to the back of the spoon well, the long plain handle with trefid design to the end of the handle. Excellent clear hallmarks to the rear, each bearing the makers mark for Lawrence Coles, the owners initials engraved to the top. Both presented in immaculate condition with original hand polished patina. Each measures 8" long x 1.85" wide x 0.5" deep. Stock number CS118.
