A quality Victorian brass cased holosteric marine barometer with engraved silvered scale and crescent thermometer C.1885. The dished case with hanging loop to the top and decorative engine turned bezel. Rapid indicating aneroid movement behind a fine quality engraved silvered dial with mercury action crescent thermometer below, glazed view window with central reading marker. Bears the retailers name Everington, Nottingham. Presented in superb condition with no damage and a deep shine. Measures 5" diameter x 2" deep. Stock number 36278.
