A Persian pure wool rug from the North West Heriz area of Persia in superb condition and cleaned ready for use c.1950. The close hand knotted pile in soft red to the centre section, three diamond shaped motifs to the rug centre and complementing geometric floral decoration to the background in soft browns, greens and yellows. Brown background to the geometric floral rug edge border and triangular infills with champagne cream background to the corners.
