Period Oak Sword Box
A period oak six plank sword box with carved front and superb original patina c.1720. Simple construction with two plank top sat over a geometric carved front, cut out side panels forming the feet and hand sawn back panel. Remnants of the original hook and eye hinges, with later hinges added. Superb original dark and rich colour with an excellent patina. Measures 39.25" wide x 14.25" deep x 21.5" high.
