An unusually small proportioned George III period oak cricket table with under shelf and wonderful patina c.1760. The simple design with circular planked top sat over a triangular jointed top rail, the joints reinforced with hand forged steel plates. Each leg in triangular form supported by a triangular under shelf with planked surface to match the top. Pegged joints throughout, very dry and untouched, presented in excellent condition with a rich original patina. Measures 18" diameter x 20.75" high. Stock number 38665.
