A substantial period oak refectory table with carved top rail and H stretcher base c.1720. Planked and pegged top with cleated ends overlapping at the ends, sat over a well carved top rail repeated to all four sides. Turned 'cup and cover' design legs set to the corners supported by a H stretcher to the base. Very sturdy construction with a rich dark colour and polish, seats six to eight people. Measures 72" long x 30" wide x 32" high. Stock number CS131.
