Pair of Victorian Silver Peppers
A matching pair of Victorian urn shaped peppers with embossed decoration, hallmarked 1895. Each solid silver urn shaped pepper sat on a square base rising to meet the body of the vessel, each embossed with floral scroll design decoration. The tops of each with gadrooned decoration and push top lids sat above. Small holes pierced to each for sprinkling the pepper and small finial to the tops. Each bears the makers mark Hayes Brothers along with clear hallmarks to all sections. Each measures 1.25" diameter x 3.25" high. Stock number 42654.
