A large and impressive pair of Victorian oil on canvas portraits of a lady and gentlemen sat in good swept gilt frames. Believed to be husband and wife and clothed in typical costume of the mid Victorian period. Each with good detail and colour. Sat in good quality old timber gilt frames, the canvases in excellent condition with no damage or repairs and the frames in good condition. One portrait signed H Chanet. Each measures including the frame 32" wide x 2" deep x 37" high. Stock number 34610.
