A matching pair of superb quality early Victorian solid silver berry spoons with fretwork handles and engraved boarders to the spoon wells, hallmarked Birmingham 1840. Each spoon with tappering handle and fretted decoration to the ends forming a shell design at the terminus. The stems engraved with a leaf and vine decoration and the circular wells with a complimenting engraved boarder. Each spoon with matching clear hallmarks and the makers initials for Thomas Wilmore. The pair weighing in at 4.6 troy oz and presented in immaculate unused condition. Each measures 8.25" long x 2"... wide at the bowl x 0.75" wide at the handle terminus. Stock number 42593.
