A matching pair of fine quality George III period silver salts by highly regarded and collected makers Anne & Peter Bateman, hallmarked London 1797. Oval form with dished tops sat over a squat flared foot pedestal, reeded edge to the rim of the foot and matching edge to the top. The interior of each with original Bristol blue glass liner. Excellent hallmarks and each bearing the makers mark for renown and highly collected collected silversmiths Anne & Peter Bateman. Each in perfect condition with no damage or repairs and a deep shine.
