An outstanding quality George II period walnut toilet mirror with with ribbon front drawers to the base and wonderful colour and original patina c.1730. The base section with figured veneers and two square drawers with inverted bow fronts set to each side and two wider matching drawers sat over each other to the centre; original brassware and locks. Two moulded uprights sat at a back leaning angle above, each with original turned finials to the tops. The mirror frame supported by axe drop fittings. Moulded frame to the mirror with tucks to the top, period mirror glass in good condition... with original oak boarded back. Superb quality and original condition with a rich colour and original patina. Measures 15" wide x 7.5" deep at the base x 22" high to the mirror top. Stock number 39656.
