Moorcroft Florian Jardiniere
An impressive Moorcroft 'Florian' design Jardiniere with decorative border to the inner edge c.1914. Superbly potted with two lugs to the front and rear and handles to the sides. A continuous band of tube lined Florian design decoration around the exterior of the Jardiniere and a matching band to the internal upper edge. Lichen green ground with the decoration painted in darker greens, blues and pale lemon tones. Early Moorcroft Burslem, England factory impressions to the base along with William Moorcrofts signature in green. Presented in excellent condition with no... damage or repairs. Measures 8.5" diameter at the rim x 12" wide including handles x 8.5" high. Stock number 42565.
