Moorcroft Big Poppy Vase
An impressive Moorcroft 'Big Poppy' design vase, signed William Moorcroft c.1920. The vase with slightly flared rim is decorated with a continuous band of tube lined big poppies; the flower heads sitting at the vase's widest point and stems and leaves running up from the base. Blue background with the flowers, which are decorated in the earlier oranges and terracotta reds and the leaves in soft ochre tones. Signed William Moorcroft to the base in blue, and impressed Moorcroft, England. Presented in immaculate perfect condition. Measures 5" diameter x 6.25" high.&nbs...p;Stock number 43159.
