Mid Victorian Walnut Betjeman's Three Bottle Tantalus
A top quality mid Victorian three bottle walnut Tantalus made by Betjeman's of London c.1880. Solid walnut casing with brass mounts and locking bar to the top. Original crystal cut glass decanters with stoppers in perfect condition. Working lock and key to the locking bar, complete with the maker's name, Betjeman's of London to the side. (Betjeman's were the original maker's of the Tantalus). Figured walnut casing with retailer's label to the front, Drew & Son of Leadenhall Street, London. Brass carry handle to the top. Presented in immaculate condition. Measures 13.5" wide x 5" deep x 12" hi...gh. Stock no. 38075.
