A matching pair of early Victorian solid mahogany Pembroke bedside cabinets c.1840. Each with drop leaves to the sides of the moulded edge tops, small fold out arms below the leaves to secure them in position. Fold down cupboard doors to the front in the style of two drawers; matching dummy drawers to the rear. Each sat on tapering turned legs with brass and porcelain castors. Excellent quality and condition with a rich colour and deep polish. Perfect for there original use or as lamp tables. Each measures 16" wide (or 35" wide with leaves up) x 18" deep x 27.5" high.
