Description

A late Victorian mahogany cased 8 day 'four glass' mantle clock with ting-tang quarter striking, fully overhauled and working c.1900. Moulded edge mahogany framed case with moulded edge plinth forming the base. All four sides glazed with full sized bevelled edge quarter plate glass, matching full sized window to the top. Hinged door to the front accessing the engraved silvered dial with Roman numerals and blued steel hands, subsidiary time keeping adjustment dial and strike silent dial. Stamped by highly regarded German maker W&H to the back plate. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine, fully overhauled and working. Measures 8.5" wide x 7.75" deep x 10.5" high. Stock number 39403.
