A quality late Victorian satinwood oval cheval mirror with inlaid cross stretcher to the base c.1890. The stand with elegant turned columns and urn shaped finials to the top. Swept cabriole legs forming the foot with original brass castors below and inlaid cross stretcher to the base. The oval swing mirror is adjustable to the desired angle and has figured veneers to the edge of the quarter plate bevelled edge mirror glass and a polished backboard for free standing. Presented in excellent original condition with a good mirror glass and a rich polish to the woodwork.... Measures 25" wide x 18" deep at the foot x 63.5" high to top of mirror. Stock number 42408.
