Late Victorian Butterfly Inlaid Mantelpiece Barometer

A superb mahogany Sheraton inlaid mantel piece aneroid barometer by Sam Robinson of Rugby c.1900. Unusual butterfly satinwood inlay to the centre of the shaped case with fruitwood stringing to the edges. The stepped base, standing on brass bun feet. Silvered engraved dial bearing the retailer's name Sam Robinson of Rugby, sat behind a bevelled edge glass mounted in a polished brass bezel with a centre reading marker. Fully overhauled movement, presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Measures 5" wide x 3.5" deep x 9.75" high. Stock number 36723.
