A late George III ash and elm four legged stool c.1800. The oblong ash top with square cut edges and the leg joints showing through the surface at each corner. Sat on four simple hand formed elm octagonal legs each slightly tapering towards the seat. Superb original colour and polish, very sturdy and usable, ideal as an occasional table or stool. Measures 14" wide x 12" deep at the base x 12" wide x 10" deep at the seat x 18.5" high. Stock number 38666.
