Large Moorcroft Pomegranate Jug
A large Moorcroft pomegranate pattern jug on ochre ground, signed William Moorcroft C.1915. Bulbous form with a deep collar forming the spout and supporting the handle. Decorated with a broad band of pomegranates with leaves and berries and open seeded fruits. Desirable ochre ground showing through the blue wash. Matching blue interior and teal blue handle. Impressed and signed in full by William Moorcroft to the base. Presented in superb condition with a deep glaze. No damage or repairs. Measures 6.5" high x 6" diameter x 7.5" wide including handle.
