A large and well painted Moorcroft ' Hazeldene' vase made for Liberty in perfect unrestored condition c.1910. The wide shouldered vase with narrow rolled over rim to the top, the sides slightly concaved and the lower section matching the shoulders. Superbly decorated with a continuous band of tube lined tall trees the crowns decorating the top of the vase. Landscape design tube lined decoration with small trees on the horizon to the lower part of the vase. The background painted in a soft green with desirable yellow streaks, the trees painted in dark blues. Signed William Moorcroft to the base... in full and marked Made For Liberty along with a registered number. Presented in immaculate perfect condition with no damage or repairs. Measures 9.5" high x 5" maximum width. Stock number 37820.
