A large fine quality George V period solid silver and blue engine turned enamel jewel box, hallmarked London 1928. Oblong form with tucked corners, the hinged opening lid with mid blue engine turned enamel finish. The polished silver base with decorative feet and mounts, the silverwork returning around to the base. The lid opening to reveal an original worn silk interior. Hallmarks to both sections and bearing the makers mark for William Comyns. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine, the enamel in mint condition. Measures 6" long x 3.5"deep x 2.5" high.
