A fine quality 11' by 7'  Persian pure wool Saroq rug from North West Persia, newly cleaned ready for use c.1920. Hand knotted with close short pile, champagne cream medallion to the centre with interlocking geometric floral design, plus secondary matching medallion surrounding it with red background and matching decoration.  The centre of the rug with dark navy background decorated in soft reds, blues, pinks and creams.
