Georgian Silver Sugar Scoop

A quality George III silver sugar or tea scoop in superb condition, hallmarked London 1808. Dished base with rounded corners to the front lip, embossed domed back and shallow rim over the top to retain the tea or sugar. The axe head shaped handle sitting proud of the domed back with clear hallmarks to the underside along with the makers mark for London silversmith Josiah Snatt, specialist spoon and ladle maker. Measures 2.5" long x 1.2" wide x 1.25" max depth. Stock number 39117.
